WSOP Announce Full 2026 Schedule with 100 Bracelet Events

The World Series of Poker have announced the 2026 schedule and there are 100 bracelet events to prepare for in Las Vegas this summer. The series will run from May 26th through to July 15th at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris casinos on the Sin City strip. Just as in 2025, the 100 bracelets will feature some crowd pleasers, some debut events and of course the world-famous WSOP Main Event World Championship, which costs $10,000 to play.

An Exciting New Era

“We’re more committed than ever to being poker’s unquestioned biggest stage.”

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is the biggest tournament festival on the poker calendar and with 100 WSOP gold bracelet events, excitement will be at fever pitch by the time the action gets underway on May 26. Ty Stewart, the CEO of the WSOP, can’t wait for the cards to be in the air.

“As we saw in 2025, thousands of incredible stories are waiting to be told at the World Series of Poker,” he said. “We’re more committed than ever to being poker’s unquestioned biggest stage and to shining a brighter spotlight on our favorite game.”

Those thoughts were echoed by GGPoker Global Ambassador Daniel Negreanu, who encouraged players of all levels to “take your shot at the gold in 2026” courtesy of the expanded satellite schedule available on GGPoker. This should give more players than ever the chance to play for glory in the summer.

“Our favorite time of year is around the corner, and we cannot wait to once again welcome the poker world back to the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas,” Jack Effel, Senior VP of Poker Operations at Caesars Entertainment, said. “This summer’s World Series of Poker promises more action and more opportunities to play your favorite events than ever before, from the first ‘Shuffle Up and Deal!’ to the crowning of the Main Event champion.”

A Return to the November Nine?

The $10,000-entry No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, otherwise known as the Main Event, returns for 2026. However, while the start of the tournament all looks very standard, there is a twist at the end. Kicking off on Thursday July 2 with Day 1a, there are four separate starting flights and two Day 2s. Play runs each day until the final table, however, there are currently no confirmed dates for when the final table will play out.

This has sparked speculation that 2026 will see a return to the ‘November Nine’ format that existed between 2008 and 2016, whereby the final nine players would return to their home countries and prepare for the biggest final table of their lives for four months before returning to Las Vegas to play down to a winner.

Debates were commonplace at the time of the November Nine, as it gave some players more of a chance to prepare than others, with a bigger ‘life roll’ able to gain more help from external sources. However, the idea had plenty of merit and the narrative build-up to the final gave fans a chance to know each player more and root for their favorites when the action began.

What will happen on July 13 when the final table is formed? We don’t yet know… but it’s going to be a lot of fun finding out.

Here’s how the last November Nine final table in 2016 played out:

New Events and Old Favorites

The 2026 WSOP sees the $500 Casino Employees Event back on the schedule from Day 1 but the opening event to begin is actually the $550 buy-in Mini Mystery Millions. With five bracelet events under $1,000 to play, more than half of the schedule fit between the $1,000 and $5,000 pricepoint, with the most expensive a $250,000 Super High Roller.

There is an early start for the $25,000-entry NLHE Heads Up Championship on May 29, with that field locked at 64 as it was last year. The Russian pro Artur Martirosian won the event in 2025 and will be sure to defend his title when that event begins.

The two biggest ticket events take place close to each other on the schedule, as the $250,000 Super High Roller (June 13) and $100,000 High Roller PLO (June 15) jockey for positions three weeks into the action. The $1,500 Millionaire Maker was hugely popular in 2025 and begins on June 17, while the epic $1,000 Mystery Millions kicks off six days later on June 23.

Alongside smaller buy-in events such as the $1,500 Monster Stack and $500-entry Colossus, the $50,000-entry Poker Player’s Championship will see Michael Mizrachi (below) looking to retain his Chip Reese trophy after his heroics in 2025 earned him a place in the Poker Hall of Fame. ‘Grinder’ will be battling for glory in that event from June 21.

With 100 bracelet events, there is something for everyone, and a single buy-in for each event would cost any player over $1.1 million. If you’re at that level, you’ll probably be allocating rebuys.

GGPoker are running online satellites into the WSOP action already, with qualifiers running right up until the WSOP cards are in the air in late May.

The path to glory – and gold – starts today.
