Who You Can Back at EPT Paris This Month

The European Poker Tour returns to the French capital this month and some of PokerStars’ finest are taking to the felt with one collective aim in mind – taking money from Paris. With sellers from all over the world putting their action up for sale on PokerStake in the coming weeks, we’ve flicked the pearls from the oyster shells in the city of romance to give your Valentines Day a bankroll boost.
The Saout Smell of Success
French professional Antoine Saout can be relied on for a solid series wherever he plays but on his home turf, he’s an even better bet. The passionate player from Morlaix in France has won over $10 million in poker tournaments over the course of his career, making him the fourth most successful French player of all time behind only Jean-Noel Thorel, Bertrand Grospellier and Benjamin Pollak.
Saout’s biggest-ever win remains the $3.47 million he took from Las Vegas after coming third in the WSOP Main Event back in 2009, as the forgotten man of a three-handed session that eventually saw Joe Cada become the youngest ever world champion at the age of 21 after beating the late, great Darvin Moon. Saout was a star of that Main Event and final table and followed it up with a fifth-place finish in 2017 worth $2m.
Very few players in the world have come in the top 25 of the WSOP Main Event three times, but Antoine is one of them, and his 1.20 markup is completely justified. Antoine is only playing the €10,300-entry High Roller No Limit Hold’em Event #41 on the schedule but is great value in it, whether you buy some of his action in a first bullet, second bullet or a piece of both.
Local Hero Selling at No Markup
Local hero Bruno Fitoussi is not just French but a Parisian and will be hoping that his home city provides yet more profit in a career packed with great results. Winning over $3.6 million in ranking tournaments alone, Bruno’s most recent result was in Paris as he finished 21st in the Unibet Deepstack Open in November.
A great bet on PokerStake, Bruno is selling to a raft of events on the site this week, with action on sale at no markup at all. Selling at 1.00, Bruno is playing Events #13, #19, #22 and #30, which includes the €5,300-entry Main Event, along with PLO, PLO 6-Max and Mystery Bounty events.
Another consistent player selling to Event #41 only is Jessica Teusl. The Austria-born tournament specialist is selling at a markup of 1.05 but only to that NLHE High Roller event. With cashes worth over $312,000 in the second half of 2025, Austrian player Jessica is one to watch, with her buy-in level growing consistently over the past few years.
Saliba and Savevski Ready to Slay
Some red-hot action has just been put on sale on PokerStake and you’ll need to be quick to get in while you can and buy some of it. Justin Saliba has performed brilliantly in high roller events in recent years and he’s one of our favorite players to back in event series such as major EPTs, WPT and WSOP events. Justin even sat down with us last year to describe how his best skill at the felt is “allowing the pressure or stakes to heighten my focus and awareness”.
Justin is selling to five events during the EPT Paris festival at present, with Events #4, #8, #10, #12 and #31 on his personal ticket. They include the first Mystery Bounty event, a Cuatro Knockout event, a €20,000 NLHE event, a €25,000 Super High Roller Warm-Up event and a €50,000 Super High Roller 2nd Chance event.
We rate Justin’s chances very high, especially in high stakes events where his comfort at the level may well be much greater than the majority of his opponents. Justin is selling at between 1.05 and 1.08 markup, great value for someone so experienced in the game.
Finally, Ilija Savevski is sure to be an exciting sweat for anyone lucky enough to grab some of his action, with Events #17, #22, #30 and #41 ones he’s playing. Selling action at between 1.05 and 1.10, Ilija is really well priced for the buyer and the North Macedonian heads into action hoping to add yet more winnings to his excellent live tournament record.
