Who Can You Stake at EPT Monte Carlo?
Who Can You Stake at EPT Monte Carlo?

The latest European Poker Tour event is about to begin in Monte Carlo, home of the rich and famous. Many fans will be star-spotting in the Principality of Monaco, others saying goodbye to a fan favorite in the commentary booth and yet more enjoying the sun-soaked millionaires’ playground. However, PokerStake buyers can look forward to hunting prizes of their own by backing some elite poker pros who are taking to the felt over a fun-filled fortnight on the French Riviera.

Let’s look at three poker greats to invest in during a thrilling fortnight of poker action.

Back Benny Glaser for Glory

With three WSOP bracelets in Las Vegas in 2025, no-one won more of them than British mixed game specialist Benny Glaser. The long-time PokerStake player is taking to the tables in Monaco as he warms up for yet another huge run at WSOP Player of the Year this summer in Sin City.

Playing two Pot Limit Omaha events early, Benny is adding some No Limit Hold’em to his PLO output when he takes on the €25,000 High Roller and of course the €5,300 EPT Monte Carlo Main Event. With another PLO event taking part later in six-max, Benny has a packed schedule and is great value no matter which event you stake him in.

Selling at between 1.00 (no markup) and 1.29 in the Main Event, Benny is generally under 1.10 across the board and returns profit so often that we might just nickname him The Boomerang if he has another WSOP summer like the last one. Winning yet another SCOOP title recently, Benny’s online prowess is virtually unsurpassed too, making him a hot pick for Monte Carlo without any doubt.

Just Trust in Jessica Teusl

The Austrian tournament pro Jessica Teusl has risen to 15th in her country’s all-time rankings in the past five years. Coming from never having enjoyed a six-figure score before 2022 to banking over $1.1 million in the last four years is a special kind of run. Jessica’s dedication is such that while many people start with a staggered schedule at the top of the year, she has already won over $215,000 in 2026.

In 2025, Jessica took home almost $500,000 in live tournament earnings alone and is therefore set for her best-ever year in 2026. Cashing in countries like Cyprus, France and the Czech Republic in the past three months, Jessica’s travels will take her to Monaco with real confidence as she looks to build on her success over the past 12 months.

Selling to the €5,300 Main Event at 1.35, the €3,250 Mystery Bounty event at between 1.10 and 1.25 and the €25,000 High Roller at either 1.01 or 1.02 depending on which bullet you choose, Jessica’s action is priced very fairly where she identifies an edge – or not – and as a consistent player at the top of her game, Jessica Tesul represents superb value as she continues to break the ceiling in the game of poker.

Another Successful Trip for Adi Rajkovic?

The Côte d’Azur is clearly the place to be for the super-cool Adi Rajkovic. The Austrian player went past the $1 million mark in 2025 in live tournament results and looks set to have another success EPT Monte Carlo series. When looking at who to stake in the latest event series, it’s always handy to glance at their previous results in the same situation and Adi’s two cashes in the 2025 EPT Monte Carlo PokerStars Open Cup and NLHE Main Event are good indicators that he could go deep again in the next fortnight.

Last year’s Main Event finish of 92md for $14,638 was a strong one but Adi has been winning even bigger ever since, banking $155,000 since the start of December. Visiting venues such as the WSOP Paradise festival in The Bahamas where he came 147th in the $25,000 Super Main Event for $70,000, the CAPT Seefeld in Austria where he finished seventh in the Mystery Bounty Event and WSOP Europe, where Adi cashed in the record-breaking Main Event, he’s a man in form.

With Adi selling to four events at between 1.00 and 1.30 markup, his action is selling quickly, and no wonder with the profits he’s already been making this year. Whoever you’re backing from our tremendous trio at EPT Monte Carlo, you can look forward to a fun sweat as the EPT Monte Carlo action begins this Thursday in Monaco.
