Which Stars are Selling Early Action to the World Series of Poker?

The start of the 2026 World Series of Poker is just over three weeks away. With Las Vegas ready to create dreams and award another 100 gold bracelets in the heat of the gambling capital of the world, PokerStake’s finest are planning for deep runs. With Sin City awaiting the best players in the world, several of them are already selling early WSOP action and you can be a part of their success.
The first event kicks off at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris casinos in just 24 days’ time, so who can you back? It’s time to stake some champions in the biggest poker tournament series in the world.
Established Superstars
As we head into the 57th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP), plenty of poker’s biggest names are already putting up action to sell. The former EPT and WSOP event winner Stephen Song is definitely in that category, with the WPT Prime winner only a WPT Main Event win away from being the 10th winner of the Triple Crown in poker. Stephen is selling to everything from turbo events to super high rollers, and mystery bounties to the GGMilion$ high roller at a markup of between 1.08 and 1.15 and represents amazing value at both ends of that scale.
Jonathan Little is going to be a big threat in the many events he’ll play at this year’s WSOP and is already selling percentages of his action to events such as the WSOP Main Event, NLHE Freezeout and Monster Stack tournaments. As of last year, Jonathan’s winnings totalled over a million in WSOP alone and over $9.7m in total. Add to that his thriving poker coaching business and one of the smartest players in the world is a must-buy seller on the site.
Lots of other poker legends are taking their shot at WSOP glory and that includes high rollers like Cherish Andrews, Dylan Linde and Ricky Mao. All three are participating in a raft of events, including $25,000 high rollers, where Cherish and Dylan will be in their elements, having committed to so many in the PokerGO Studio. The Heads-Up Championship costing the same amount will doubtless appeal to Ricky ‘Renji’ Mao, who will be hoping to win his third WSOP bracelet at the series.
Mixed Game Masters
A number of others on the PokerStake roster will be looking to take advantage of the many varied games that the WSOP have to offer. There is simply no other festival all year that provides the scope for PLO, Big O, Stud or H.O.R.S.E. tournaments to name just four formats that the WSOP do. The Las Vegas spectacular is a beacon for many mixed game players and by backing those with a lot of experience on PokerStake, you can put yourself in the position to win along with them.
David Tarbet is playing events such as the Mystery Millions, the 8-Game Mixed and the 9-Game Mix. Selling mostly at no markup at all, he’s an outstanding pick for the series, as is Jason Brauda. Taking part in plenty of Pot Limit Omaha events, Jason is also playing in Monster Stack, NLHE 6-Max and Circuit Championship events and will feature in an exclusive look at his poker skills here on PokerStake later this week.
Kathy Chang will be determined to transfer her mixed game success from local events in Las Vegas all year round to the biggest show in town and she’ll be joined in that ambition by Chris Conrad. So far, Chris had advertised pieces of his action in PLO Hi-Lo 8 or Better, Big O and NLHE 8-Max events and will be a big threat to anyone’s bracelet hopes, such is his proficiency in mixed games.
Other Players Gunning for Glory
There are so many great players playing under the PokerStake that the phrase ‘embarrassment of riches’ was made for the roster this summer, and it’s only just May. Melanie Pittard is selling to five events at no markup at all and is on the rise in her career, while Rachel Giacopuzzi could say the same about her chances, with markup-free offerings in events with a buy-in of between $500-$1,000 meaning you can buy a bigger piece of her action for less money than other events, giving yourself an excellent chance of profit for a lower investment.
The superb Donnie Peters will be looking for another in-the-money finish in the WSOP Main Event but is selling to other great value events such as the Millionaire Maker, Monster Stack and Super Turbo Bounty events. Finally – for now – one of our biggest picks for the WSOP is Tyler Phillips, who had one of the best years of his poker career on the back of our profiling him last year. His years of experience put him in the must-buy category for sure.
Whoever you’re backing this summer on PokerStake, get in quick and buy your action before the games get under way. Make your World Series of Poker an exciting one from the comfort of your own home and your champion could be giving you some of their treasure as PokerStake players battle for gold in Vegas.
