The North American Poker Tour is Back… So Who Do You Back to Win?

This week, the live action at the poker felt takes place in the gambling capital of the world – Las Vegas. Poker is back as the North American Poker Tour takes place from November 3 – 12 at Resorts World. Heading into the action are some superb PokerStake players hunting glory for themselves and profit for both them and their investors on the site. Let’s take a look at the runners and riders hoping to win big in Sin City.
A Big Festival for a Little Win?
There are a number of great value events running across the ten days of tournament action in Las Vegas starting this week, with the PokerStars Open. Costing $1,100 to play and with a half-million guarantee, that runs from November 3-6. From the 5th November, expect fireworks in the PokerStars Open $2,200 High Roller, with the NAPT Super High Roller also running from November 5-7, costing $50,000 to play.
With the NAPT Main Event kicking off on November 6 and running until the final day of the festival on November 12, the $5,300 Main Event has a $3m guarantee. The $330 NAPT Women’s Event, $1,100 NAPT Women’s High Roller and $10,300 NAPT High Roller take place too, with the $550 NAPT Mystery Bounty running for the last three days of the festival from November 10-12 with a $200,000.
One of the big favorites once the festival begins is Jonathan Little, who is selling to plenty of events through the series at a markup of 1.15. One of the most successful tournament players of all-time, Jonathan’s track record on PokerStake is an enviable one. In total, he’s won 64 times on the site selling his action, a total of $1.64 million, with his best result by profit the $229,500 he won in the PGT PokerGO Cup, a profit of 2,272%!
Hitting the Right Note
Stephen Song has won big on the North American Poker Tour before, and last year, crushed field in the NAPT Super High Roller for the fifth biggest score of his career so far. Winning $439,400, Stephen did a deal with Jake Cody and Jeremy Wien when down to the final three to lock up nearly half a million dollars.
With over $11.2 million in total live tournament winnings, Stephen has a tremendous record in events at this time of year, cashing six times in six weeks at the tail-end of 2024 for some huge results, including winning $160,000 in the Triton Main Event in The Bahamas as part of the WSOP Paradise festival.
With action to his NAPT Super High Roller on sale again at between 1.04 and 1.10 makeup, Stephen could well be in the prime position to make it back-to-back wins in the city he spends so much time in.
Alex Livingston is another player who is poised to win big at just the right time of the year. Famously able to mix it with the very best, Alex is selling to Events across the board between markup of 1.08 and 1.15 and will sell out quickly. His proficiency at NLHE and Pot Limit Omaha make his mixed event #13 great value at 1.08 and that $10,200 buy-in event would be our pick, with two bullets available.
Other Huge Names Ready to Crush
Allen Kessler is always ready for the fight and not just in the food hall. Sure to battle hard in the H.O.R.S.E. and O/E, Allen’s record in mixed games is an enviable one, and his ability to drag a cash from nowhere is uncanny. He’s due a big win and we make him one of the biggest threats in H.O.R.S.E. given his recent performances in mixed game variants.
Brock Wilson’s generosity in selling his Super High Roller event action at between 1.04 and 1.08 is obvious. Brock is a powerhouse in any high roller ad the $20,000 and $50,000 events are bound to sell out quickly, as are any events on offer from Cherish Andrews. The Global Poker Index Female Player of the Year so many times they should name the award after her has advertised action to the high rollers, Main Event and Mystery Bounty. For us, Cherish is such a consistent player that you could pick any of her action to invest in, but something tells us to expect a deep run from her in the Main Event this year.
Donnie Peters enjoyed a great summer in Las Vegas and is selling to the $5,300-entry Main Event too – and at no markup. He can’t be missed, and nor can either David Coleman and Dylan Linde. Both are only selling to a single high roller at present but that may change later in the series and those pieces on offer should be snapped up before anyone else gets them.
With others such as Giuseppe Pantaleo, Melanie Pittard, Ekrem Bozkurt, Gregor Sverko, Ian Ohara, Joey Gargiulo, Kathy Chang, Kevin Theodore, Spencer Champlin, Victoria Livschitz, Anthony Spinella, Carol Szeto and David Chen also selling to this year’s North American Poker Tour, make sure you head to our official NAPT PokerStake tournament page to invest in your champion and cheer them on to glory this November.
