After over 15 hours of play, ‘sica26‘ was crowned this week’s PokerStars $109 Sunday Million winner banking $101,770. The prize pool was set at $1,022,400 after 10,225 entrants took to the tables, and when the field was reduced to the final three, over 14 hours of play had elapsed.

For the second time in eight weeks, ‘Lucky_Jew_17‘ won the PokerStars $109 Sunday Million and did so after surviving a heads-up battle against the #3world-ranked #3 ‘Lena900‘.

The online poker world had a lot going on on Sunday. The PokerStars Sunday Million 13th Anniversary and the final day of both partypoker POWERFEST and 888poker XL Blizzard, but those didn’t distract some of online poker’s top-ranked players from putting up big results in some of the other Sunday Majors.

New PocketFives.com world #1 ranked player Roman Romanovsky was among the big Sunday winners after the Ukranian took down the GGPoker Sunday Blade $10K for a whopping $104,500.

It’s yet another summer week without much movement in the PocketFives Worldwide Top 10 as Sweden’s ‘lena900’ continues to ride the wave he had been on for the past two months, retaining the #1 spot.

Stability reigns at the top of the PocketFives Rankings this week. The top five players in the world stayed the same as last week with Sweden’s ‘lena900‘ holding on to the #1 spot for the fifth consecutive week.

There’s not much movement in the PocketFives Worldwide Top 10 this week, as eight of the ten spots held steadfast from last week. The difference this week is it seems that the top tier players are slowly coming back to the tables after their post-spring series breaks.
