High-stakes cash game pro and four-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Eli Elezra has been named as the 2021 inductee into the Poker Hall of Fame.

The World Series of Poker’s Poker Hall of Fame announced the list of 10 finalists that will be considered for induction in 2021. The 32 living members of the Poker Hall of Fame will cast their vote from the shortlist, with just one earning the honor of induction on November 17.

In the final days of 2020, former World Series of Poker Main Event champion Huckleberry Seed became the 60th person inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame. Seed, a four-time WSOP bracelet winner including the 1996 WSOP Main Event, is undoubtedly a worthy recipient of what should be considered poker’s highest honor.

After a vote by the 30 of the 31 living members of the Poker Hall of Fame, 1996 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Huckleberry Seed has been named as the sole member of the Poker Hall of Fame Class of 2020.

Sometime before the end of 2020, one person – and potentially two – will receive a phone call from World Series of Poker executives letting them now they have been enshrined into the Poker Hall of Fame.

With the 2020 World Series of Poker Main Event now underway, the team in charge of the WSOP is proceeding with as much of the normal pomp and circumstance that normally accompanies the summer series as possible.
