Christian Rudolph is starting the New Year off on the right foot by taking down the first GGPoker Super MILLION$ event of 2022 and picking up this week’s $485,234 first-place prize.

It’s been a career week for Russian nosebleed tournament crusher Artur Martirosian who, after winning the Super High Roller Bowl Europe’s $100K SHR for a career-best score of $1.4 million earlier this week, proceeded to take down this week’s GGPoker Super MILLION$ for the second time in his career, earning another $325,957.

In his tenth appearance in the $10,000 GGPoker Super MILLION$, and his first final table, Hungary’s David Szep outlasted this week’s field of 105 entries to capture his first Super MLLION$ title and the $228,170 first-place prize.

Germany’s Pascal Hartmann entered Tuesday’s GGPoker Super MILLION$ final table near the very bottom of the chip counts but after chipping up and eliminating each of his final five opponents, the high-stakes superstar emerged as this week’s winner and took home the $454,907 first-place prize.

After four starting flights and 2,130 entries, the first-ever World Poker Tour Online Championship Event saw just 398 players return for Day 2 on Monday. And at the end of the day, it was Super High Roller savant Sam Greenwood who assumed the overnight chip lead heading into Day 3.

Wednesday brought more WPT Online Series action at partypoker and some big winners. Among those taking home titles was Pascal Hartmann, who won the $5,200 High Roller for $205,826.53. Anthony Zinno and Robert Heidorn were also among the day’s winners.
