RANKINGS: Jon ‘itsmejon’ Borenstein Tops USA Rankings

The United States Online Poker Rankings takes a look at the top online players in the current legalized and regulated markets available in the U.S.
Jon ‘itsmejon’ Borenstein, the #1 ranked player in New Jersey, has made his way to the top of the PocketFives United States Online Poker Rankings. Borenstein is coming off a month of March that saw him land notables scores of $7,114, $4,777, and $4,690, and he kicked off April with a second-place finish on WSOP.com worth $14,858. Borenstein sits atop the leaderboard with 4.304.83 points, which is just more than 100 points ahead of David ‘dehhhhh’ Coleman in second place.

Borenstein’s $4,690 score in March came from a second-place finish in the WSOP.com $15,000 Weekly Friday [Re-entry, 6 Max], earning him 111.23 points. His $7,114 score was a seventh-place result in WSOP Circuit Event #8 – $100,000 NLH High Roller 6-Max 2x Re-entry (Official Ring Event) for 132.88 points. He followed that performance with a fifth-place finish in the WSOP Circuit Event #9 – $50,000 NLH 2x Re-entry (Official Ring Event) for $4,777 and 110.21 points.
Not too far behind Borenstein is Coleman, and he also had himself an impressive month of March. Coleman won the WSOP.com $10,000 Daily [Re-entry] on March 5 for $4,663 and 129.05 points, took second in the WSOP.com Tuesday Showdown – $30,000 GTD [Re-entry] on March 13 for $7,939 and 142.57 points, and won the BorgataPoker.com SUNDAY $35K GTD NLH [3X RE] on March 18 for $7,455 and 187.08 points.
Ryan ‘shipthesherb’ Hohner, who is currently in third place with 4,086.83 points, had a March that was highlighted by a second place finish in the WSOP Circuit Event #8 – $100,000 NLH High Roller 6-Max 2x Re-entry (Official Ring Event) on March 6. In that event, Hohner won $29,185 and earned 281.77 points. He also had a pair of final table finishes in the WSOP.com $20,000 Weekly Tuesday [Re-entry] in back-to-back weeks to close out the month, finishing fourth on March 20 for $2,740 and 80.56 points and second on March 27 for $5,997 and 125.78 points.
Rounding out the top five were Daniel ‘centrfieldr’ Lupo and Michael ‘Gags30’ Gagliano, both regulars at the top of the PocketFives United States Online Poker Rankings.
