Don’t Miss Out on the Wynn Summer Classic During WSOP Season
Don’t Miss Out on the Wynn Summer Classic During WSOP Season

During the World Series of Poker, it is easy to stick to events taking place at either the Horseshoe Las Vegas or Paris casino just a few yards away on the Sin City Strip. The WSOP is such a mammoth series that backing players to win gold in one of 100 bracelet events can take over. But nestled in amongst the WSOP events is the Wynn Summer Classic, a festival taking place in Las Vegas right around the corner from the World Series action.

Over a dozen great players are taking part in the series whilst selling action on PokerStake, so we’ve broken down the series and where you can find the best value in Las Vegas this summer.

The Summer Championship

The biggest value in the Wynn Summer Classic series might be the $10,440-entry Summer Championship. Jonathan Little is taking part in the event and is a great example of how a top tier player could well be one of the biggest value sharks in that event. There is bound to be a huge attendance and Little’s experience in the toughest field events, such as the PokerGO Series he so regularly wins in makes him a top pick at $10,000 buy-in stakes. The poker pro, author and coach is selling three bullets at a markup of 1.10.

French legend Antoine Saout is also taking on the Summer Championship, selling to one bullet at a markup of 1.30. Antoine has won over $10 million in a spectacular career but even better is his recent record, with six cashes in three countries already in 2026. He’s sure to be a major threat in Las Vegas and has a big edge on most in the field.

Legendary poker tournament crusher Dylan Linde (below) is also taking part in the Summer Championship and is selling three bullets at a price of 1.11 markup for bullet #1, 1.10 for bullet #2 and 1.09 for bullet #3. Dylan has been in the news recently after describing a repayment issue and we’re delighted to see him using PokerStake to sell his latest action, where all transactions go through our site and money is deposited by backers before any poker takes place.

Crushers Playing Multiple Events

Plenty of PokerStake players are playing a host of the events on offer at the Wynn Las Vegas cardroom this summer. Austrian poker crusher Adi Rajkovic is taking on the Summer Championship at odds of 1.15, 1.12 and 1.10 per bullet but is also playing the $2,200 buy-in Mystery Bounty event, selling bullets at 1.25, 1.20 and 1.15 in that event, reflecting his increased edge in a tournament format he knows very well.

North Macedonian player Ilija Savevski is one of our picks for the summer and is backable in every WSOP event he plays as he looks to add another bracelet to his collection. He’s also taking on the $10,400 Summer Championship, and three NLHE events at the Wynn Summer Classic, which cost $1,600, $2,200 and $3,500 respectively. We can’t emphasize enough how great the value of Ilija is in these events.

Kevin Theodore is another player we absolutely have to recommend you get behind over the coming months. ‘KTheo’ is playing NLHE events starting on May 21st, May 24th, June 1st, June 4th, and June 27th which range between $600 and $1,100 in entry fees. Kevin has a big edge at this entry level and we can see him getting to one of those final table or even winning one of the tournaments outright such is our confidence in him.

Ladies Who Launch

Plenty of female poker talent are taking on all comers in Las Vegas this summer and we’ve picked three of the best you can invest in on PokerStake. Jackie Liu is one you’ll want to back and then keep a close eye on as she bids to win the Wynn Summer Classic Ladies High Roller. This time last year, Jackie was reaching the final table of the Parx Big Stac$1,500 8-Max event where she finished seventh for $11,765, her third five-figure score in a row. This year, we think she can excel in this $2,500 buy-in ladies-only event.

Also firing hard in this year’s Wynn Summer Classic is the recent Chainsaw event champion Kathy Chang. The South Korean born Vegas icon took down the Chainsaw Summer Series O8 event last week (below) for a score of $5,499, and with four cashes in the series, seems a lock for profit across many mixed games that she’s playing, from formats such as T.O.R.S.E. to Mixed Triple Draw.

Finally, Sasha Liu heads into the Wynn Summer Classic looking to play a lot of mixed game events just like Kathy. Taking on the Mix Championship, HORSE and 5-card PLO events to name just three, Sasha will be hoping to replicate her best historical results in Las Vegas in May and June. While her three biggest results have come in NLHE, Sasha’s biggest ever winning result remains the $800 PLO 8-Max Bounty victory she enjoyed in late May in Las Vegas which was worth $20,161.
