Could YOU be Halfway to Paradise at the World Series of Poker?
Could YOU be Halfway to Paradise at the World Series of Poker?

The World Series of Poker is about to hit The Bahamas, and with the WSOP Paradise starting in a matter of eight weeks, the countdown is on to become one of the 15 bracelet winners in poker’s winter vacation from heaven. All eyes are already turning to the Super Main Event, which last year crowned a winner for $6,000,000.

Can you imagine winning the top prize of millions of dollars without needing to pay the whole buy-in?

The $25,000+$1,000 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event is the biggest poker tournament of the year after the WSOP Main Event, and this year, just as in 2024, PokerStake is excited to cover up to 50% of the unsold action to the Super Main Event for any Circuit Package winners. That means you can buy in for $13,000, selling the other half of your action and giving your fans and fellow players a sweat!

How to Enter the Super Main Event

With a $25,000 buy-in and a massive $60 million guarantee, the WSOP Super Main Event is going to be the most amazing poker event of the year. In 2024, the event was won by the Chinese player Yinan Zhou, who took home an incredible top prize of $6,000,000. Other players to reach the final table included Marcelo Aziz (2nd for $4m), Mustapha KAnit (3rd for $3.6m) and the English player Liv Boeree, who earned the biggest score of her career, coming fourth for $2.8m.

This year’s WSOP Paradise Super Main Event is going to be even bigger, with the $60m guarantee being $10m higher than the $50m on offer twelve months ago. Getting involved in this exclusive offer on PokerStake means that you can sell action to your entry at no markup, giving friends, family and fellow players the chance to take part too through yourself.

“Halfway to Paradise is like getting a boost for a slamdunk!” PokerStake‘s Josh Arieh said. “It’s going to let so many more people play the Super Main Event than before and that’s exciting for everyone in on the action on PokerStake. I can’t wait for the big one in The Bahamas – I’ll see you at the felt!”

To take advantage of this offer, you’ll need to act quicker than a snap-call pre-flop with pocket aces. Staking applications close on November 24, and you can get your applications across to PokerStake from today. For this offer, your markup to your $25,000 package must be set at 1.0, so remember not to add any juice for this event in particular if you want to take part.

How Much of the Buy-In Will PokerStake Cover?

Upon receipt of your application, PokerStake will review your information. Approved players must then deposit their portion or percentage of the $26,000 entry fee and registration amount. With PokerStake covering up to 50% of the amount, this buy-in from your end must be a minimum of $13,000.

You can then put your package on sale at PokerStake, promoting the action on your social media channels, talking to friends and family who might want to buy some of your action and leaving anything left over to PokerStake. Remember, up to 50% of your action will be on sale, so you need to deposit a minimum of $13,000 via the WSOP+ app yourself to take part once you’ve been approved.

Once your deposit is made on WSOP+, your staking will then be made available for sales on PokerStake.com within 24 hours, with PokerStake buying any remaining unsold shares on December 8.

The youngest-ever winner of the WSOP Main Event, 2009 world champion Joe Cada, was one of many players who eulogised about the positive impact of the WSOP+ app during the WSOP summer in Las Vegas, saying, “This new WSOP App is amazing”. He’s not the only one. PokerStake’s own Josh Arieh agreed, encouraging players to ‘Go to Story (you have to put something in the text box), then click the chip logo [to update your story].’

PokerStake favorite Max Pescatori, known as ‘The Italian Pirate’ called the WSOP+ app ‘a game changer’.

When Does the Super Main Event Take Place?

The $60m guaranteed, $25,000 (+$1,000) buy-in Super Main Event takes place from December 10, with four opening day flights. Each one of those has to average $15m in buy-ins to reach the guarantee, meaning an average of 600 entries per day. That’s a big reach but with such massive value in the event, it’s the ticket everyone is after this winter.
